Welcome to Chef Harry, an iOS application designed to analyze restaurant menus and provide dish recommendations. Chef Harry allows users to take photos of menus, select their preferences or "vibe," and receive personalized suggestions on what to order. By accessing or using Chef Harry, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the application.

Nature of Service

Chef Harry utilizes image processing and analysis capabilities to interpret menu items and provide recommendations based on user-selected preferences. The application processes photos taken by users to extract menu information and generate suggestions. While we strive to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information provided, the content is intended for informational purposes only and may contain errors or inaccuracies. Menu interpretations may be incomplete or incorrect due to image quality, language barriers, handwritten items, or other factors. Recommendations are generated based on available data and may not account for all dietary restrictions, ingredient changes, or menu updates. Users are advised to exercise their own judgment and discretion when using the app and making dining decisions.

User Responsibilities

When using Chef Harry, you agree to:

• Provide clear, legible photos of menus for processing
• Use the application in compliance with local laws and regulations
• Respect the privacy and rights of others while using the app in public settings
• Verify recommendations with restaurant staff, especially regarding allergens or dietary restrictions
• Use the application's recommendations as suggestions only, not as definitive guidance

Disclaimer of Liability

Chef Harry and its developers shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the application. This includes, but is not limited to, any errors or omissions in menu interpretation, dish recommendations, allergen information, or any actions taken in reliance on the information provided by the app.

You explicitly acknowledge and agree that you cannot and will not sue or initiate any form of legal proceedings against the developers, owners, operators, or any affiliated parties of Chef Harry under any circumstances related to the use of the application, its recommendations, or any consequences arising from such use, including but not limited to negative dining experiences, allergic reactions, or financial losses.

Health and Safety

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that any dishes suggested by Chef Harry are suitable for their dietary needs and restrictions, including allergies and intolerances. The application may not accurately identify or flag potential allergens in menu items. We strongly recommend informing restaurant staff about any dietary requirements before ordering and explicitly confirming the ingredients in recommended dishes. Chef Harry provides recommendations only and is not responsible for the preparation, ingredients, or safety of food at restaurants.

Image Processing and Data

By using Chef Harry, you acknowledge that any menu photos you take will be processed by our systems for the purpose of providing recommendations. While we do not permanently store these images beyond what is necessary to provide the service, you grant Chef Harry the right to analyze and process images taken within the application. You affirm that you have the right to photograph any menu you submit and that you are not violating any copyrights or proprietary rights by doing so.

Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Services at any time. Any changes will be communicated by updating the terms on this page. Continued use of the application following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These Terms and Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any legal actions or proceedings arising out of or related to these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Spain. However, as explicitly stated above, by using Chef Harry, you waive your right to initiate any legal proceedings against the developers, owners, or affiliates.
